Philip Schofield snubbed by NTAs months after sensationally quitting This Morning.


Philip and Holly have both failed to receive a nomination for best presenter at the National Television Awards. But This Morning has been nominated for the Daytime Show Award and will attempt to retain its title. This Morning will be competing against The Chase, Loose Women, and The Repair Shop. The show faced a lot of backlash earlier this year when Philip resigned from the channel following a scandal. Last year, This Morning won the NTA for Best Daytime Show for the fifth year running despite receiving some criticism. Their win came weeks after the pair were accused of cutting in line to see the late Queen lying in state.

Holly and Phil started presenting together in 2009, but since Phil stepped down, other co-stars have stepped in. Josie Gibson and Alison Hammond have been co-presenting with Holly. The National Television Awards will take place on September 5th, and many will be tuning in to see who wins.


The National Television Awards ceremony promises to be an eventful one, with fans of This Morning eagerly awaiting the outcome. As September 5th approaches, the anticipation continues to build.
