Mum tells of agonising childbirth without pain relief

Image
Mum tells of agonising childbirth without pain relief I was just really scared. I didn't know what was happening. I wasn't told any alternative of pain relief until I got to the hospital. Emma was about to endure the most agonising pain of her life, struggling to deliver a baby without any gas and air pain relief. It was really bad. I've never experienced that type of pain before. Well, I've had that type but without the pain relief, it was really excruciating. And I think if he was my first baby that would really put me off of having another one. It was hard to breathe through it because I was taking my breath away. It was really bad. Emma's hospital suspended gas and air because of safety fears, but nobody had warned her. It was just the pain. He's not my first baby. So my previous labours, all I've had is gas and air and it helped with the contractions...

Dominic Raab dodges questions on bullying allegations

Image
Dominic Raab dodges questions on bullying allegations Figures that worked with you that I've spoken to have told me that your behaviour did amount to bullying, that your approach put the fear of God to quote someone into members of your staff. You insist you are not a bully, but do you accept that others think you are and are you confident that you're going to remain in your post in a few months time? Well, I've of course engaged with the inquiry and will not comment on it at all and certainly not comment on anonymous claims made through the media, which of course are in breach of the rules of the inquiry. Put it another way then, do you think you will be exonerated and remain in post? I've nothing more to say than I've already said at length. OK, so you're not sure you're going to be exonerated? It's an independent inquiry, I'm confident I've b...

Couple arrested on suspicion of gross negligence manslaughter

Couple arrested on suspicion of gross negligence manslaughter So obviously I continue continuing the extensive searches for the missing baby of Constance Martin and Mark Gordon after they were located in Brighton last night. The pair were arrested in Stamford Villars at around 21.30 hours on Monday the 27th of February after a member of the public saw them in the shop in Hollingbury Place. I can confirm that they were initially arrested on suspicion of child neglect. I can now confirm that they have been further arrested on suspicion of gross negligence manslaughter and that they remain in custody at police stations in Sussex. The baby was not with them and we have not found the baby at yet. The police helicopter, sniffer dogs, thermal imaging cameras and drones are being used to assist officers on the ground. We currently have over 200 officers from multiple units across the Metrop...
