Prince Harry and Meghan Markle receive Coronation invitation | 5 News
Hi, you two. Well, I can confirm that the invitations have started to go out and one of them has winged its way to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex. I always expected it would go and it has gone to them. There's spokesperson's being a little bit coy about the RSVP, whether that has been sent and whether it's positive or negative. But obviously a lot's happened in the last few months, what with books and documentary series and what we were reporting last week about their UK residents. But they have been invited and of course there are plenty of royal residences for them to stay at should they come over for the coronation at the start of May. And Harry's been given more interviews this weekend in America.
He's really talking about his family and coming from a broken home. Yes, that was one of the lines, CL, how he also said he always felt slightly different. He spoke of his various traumas, which we've heard about a fair bit, haven't we? But he spoke more about drug use. That's been quite controversial, marijuana in particular and how he says it has helped him. That's attracted some criticism. He's spoken about the importance of therapy. In fact, the whole session on Saturday seemed to be a therapy seminar.
He spoke about hugs, how he said he didn't feel he got enough when he was a child and how he smothers his own children in hugs. And also he says he's not a victim. And that's in fairness is something he said in the various TV interviews. He's just like getting everything out there. He doesn't feel he's a victim, but he says he now feels incredibly free, which is more than the pay-per-view seminar, by the way. That costs £17.99 per viewer, but you did get a copy of the book thrown in.
